Kathryn Sikkink will deliver a three-part lecture series
entitled, ‘Rediscovering Individual Responsibilities in the Age
of Rights.’ Each talk in the series will explore a different
aspect of this theme.

~Monday, October 9: ‘The Mystery of the Missing Duties: Why are
Individual Duties Absent from Human Rights Law?’
~Tuesday, October 10: ‘Civic Responsibilities of a Citizen:
Individual Agency as a Tool for Addressing Structural Problems.’
~Wednesday, October 11: ‘Rights and Responsibilities on Campus
and in our Professions: Free Speech and Protest.’
