The Yale Film Colloquium presents INCEPTION (Christopher Nolan, 2010) on 35mm (print from the Yale Film Archive). INCEPTION will be shown as part of the “Spaced Out: Outer Space and Altered States” fall program.

INCEPTION delves into the subconscious mind, examining how memory and thoughts are stored, retrieved, and produced, through the story of Dominick “Dom” Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio), a professional thief who infiltrates his victims’ dreams to steal valuable information. INCEPTION bends lines between real and imaginary, interior and exterior, and public and private spaces. Don’t miss the opportunity to see this critically-acclaimed, visually stunning film on the big screen.

Event is free and open to all.

Funding for The Yale Film Colloquium is provided by the History of Art Department, Yale School of Art, the European Studies Council at Yale, the Film Study Center (courtesy of Paul L.
