Lightfoot, Curator in the Department of Greek and Roman Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, uses the extensive collection exhibited in “Drink That You May Live”: Ancient Glass from the Yale University Art Gallery to discuss the impact of the invention of glassblowing on the ancient glass industry.
