Dr. Naidoo is a global justice advocate, practitioner, and leader on addressing the human dimensions of global climate change and poverty. Currently, he directs the African Civil Society Centre, an initiative to promote and strengthen the effectiveness of civil society in Africa. In the past he served as International Executive Director of Greenpeace; chair of the Global Campaign for Climate Action; and a founder of the Global Call to Action Against Poverty. Naidoo is a Rhodes Scholar and holds a D.Phil. in Politics from Oxford University.

Daniel C. Esty, Hillhouse Professor of Environmental Law and Policy, School of Forestry & Environmental Studies and Clinical Professor of Environmental Law & Policy and Douglas Kyser, Joseph M. Field ’55 Professor of Law, will be his faculty hosts.
