SETH WALLACE
What does your best life look like? How can LGBTQ folks create emotional wellbeing for ourselves and our community? Join Seth Wallace in discussing emotional intelligence, tips for embodying queer leadership, and how each of us has the potential to transform our lives.

12:30–1:30PM: LGBTQ RESISTANCE: A TIME FOR DIALOGUE

In the face of the Trump administration, where are queer social justice energies best directed? What does queer resistance mean to you? Are you interested in meeting other activists on campus? Come connect with Yale students experienced and/or interested in activism. Compare past struggles, figure out how to use your energies at Yale, in your profession, in New Haven, the US or the world! Although theres is much to celebrate as the academic year kicks off (such as the new space for the Office of LGBTQ Resources), there is also much work to be done!

1:30–2:30PM: DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS

Trying to make your LGBTQ group more inclusive? Having trouble getting your family members to use your preferred pronouns? Come learn and practice some strategies for having dif cult but important conversations.

2:30–3:30PM: MAKING YOUR QUEER EVENT FABULOUSLY INCLUSIVE

A workshop on planning welcoming and inclusive LGBTQ-targeted events with broad appeal on campus and beyond!
