World Fellows Facundo Garretón and Lin Kobayashi will lead a conversation about unconventional careers in a Silliman Head of College Tea. Facundo and Lin will talk about how one can move between public and private sectors, what have been their motivations behind those moves, and the critical considerations that took place at each intersection of their career.

Facundo is a member of Congress in Argentina and a serial entrepreneur. He is a founder of one of Latin America’s largest online brokerage firms, and founding director of the most important social entrepreneur platform in Latin America.

Lin is most recently a founder and board chair of Japan’s first international boarding school, but worked in investment banking, dot com start-up, Japanese government, and UNICEF in her previous career.
