Yale College Opening Assembly (Berkeley, Davenport, Timothy Dwight, Benjamin Franklin, Morse, Pauli Murray and Pierson)

Addresses by Peter Salovey, President of Yale University, and Marvin Chun, Dean of Yale College, to students from Berkeley, Davenport, Timothy Dwight, Benjamin Franklin, Morse, Pauli Murray, and Pierson colleges.

All first-years are required to attend and be in their seats on the main floor of Woolsey by 8:45 a.m. for the 9 a.m. assembly. Proper attire should be worn. Family members and guests of students are invited to attend and to take seats on the the parquet terraces on the first floor and in the first balcony. Doors to Woolsey Hall will open at 8 a.m. This event will be recorded and posted to Yale’s YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/user/yaleuniversity).
