Yale College Opening Assembly (Branford, Jonathan Edwards, Grace Hopper, Saybrook, Silliman, Ezra Stiles and Trumbull)

Addresses by Peter Salovey, President of Yale University, and Marvin Chun, Dean of Yale College, to students from Branford, Jonathan Edwards, Grace Hopper, Saybrook, Silliman, Ezra Stiles, and Trumbull colleges.

All first-years are required to attend and be in their seats on the main floor of Woolsey by 10:15 a.m. for the 10:30 a.m. assembly. Proper attire should be worn. Family members and guests of students are invited to attend and to take seats on the the parquet terraces on the first floor and in the first balcony. Doors to Woolsey Hall will open at 10 a.m. This event will be recorded and posted to Yale’s YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/user/yaleuniversity).
