Two Yale Physics PhDs will discuss ins-and-outs of doing physics at a liberal arts college and possible ways to prepare for such a career.

Liz McCormack is the Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Physics at Bowdoin College and was previously a Dean and Professor at Bryn Mawr College. She will talk about her experience as an administrator, teacher, and research in molecular laser spectroscopy.

Ken Segall is a Professor of Physics at Colgate University. He worked in the group of Prof. Dan Prober while completing his Ph.D. in at Yale. At Colgate, Ken studies emergent phenomena with a focus on networks of superconducting Josephson junctions while teaching a wide-range of courses.
