Myles Loftin is a 19 year old photographer studying at Parsons School of Design. Loftin has had work featured in publications such as Dazed Mag, Oyster Mag, Nylon Japan, and The Fader, and in art spaces in D.C. and Los Angeles. He was recently in the media for “HOODED,” a vibrant video and photo project that challenges the stereotypes of black teenage boys. As a minority artist, Myles is passionate about working to create opportunities for other minority artists to gain recognition and access in the art world through social activism and community outreach. This lecture will focus on Myles’s work–in art, in community, and in their intersection.

This is the first lecture of St. Anthony Hall’s public lecture series. St. Anthony Hall is a 3 year undergraduate society that aims to foster the intellectual and personal development of its members.
